Professor Kun-Hsien Tsai, Joint Appointment Faculty Member of Our Department, will officially assume the position of Director of the Institute of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, College of Public Health, National Taiwan University, starting from August 1, 2025. He will also concurrently serve as Associate Dean of the College of Public Health and Director of the Global Health Degree Program.
Professor Tsai is currently a full-time faculty member in both the Department of Public Health and the Institute of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the College of Public Health, and also holds a joint appointment with our department. He has long been dedicated to teaching and research in the fields of environmental epidemiology, occupational health risk assessment, and global health, demonstrating outstanding academic achievements and administrative leadership.
This promotion not only highlights Professor Tsai’s profound contributions to the field of public health, but also reflects his visionary leadership in interdisciplinary integration and international collaboration. Our department is honored to have Professor Tsai as a joint appointment faculty member, continuously bringing new momentum to the intersection of entomology and public health research.
