Ecology and Taxonomy of Aquatic Insects:

  • Ethono-Entomology, Endangered Insects.
  1. Ecology of aquatic insects: the research on the resources and ecology of aquatic insects, biological indices of aquatic insects and the taxonomy of aquatic beetles.
  2. Insects conservation: the investigation on the rare and endangered insects and the role of insects in ecological system and their relationships with other animals.
  3. The resources and conservation of butterflies in Taiwan: the investigation of butterfly resources in Taiwan, the research on the conservation of the rare butterfly species and the protection of the habitats of specific butterflies.
  4. Ethnoentomology: The uses of insects and their roles in daily life.
